Hello and welcome to Sandy’s Cafe. We are open for breakfast and lunch year-round in Brick, New Jersey.
Established in 2022, we are a Jersey Shore cafe serving a mix of traditional dishes that you will find to be “kicked up” a notch. We are excited to work with local suppliers to deliver the freshest and highest quality ingredients to our guests’ tables! Dine-in or take away we are here for the community.
Kara and Ken are first-time restaurant owners. They picked Brick, New Jersey so they both can be near their Moms.
Kara has worked for the past 30 years in the feature film industry. Kara worked her way up on film sets, then as a talent agent, and most recently as a film producer. For the past ten years, her production company made 8 independent feature films.
Ken has 30 years of experience in the restaurant industry. Starting as a crew member at McDonald’s as a teenager, and working his way up to supervising and director of training for eleven McDonald’s locations in Staten Island. Ken also worked in managerial positions at Boston Market and Pret A Manger.
